5:00p - Out of cash
Had a very lazy weekend
- lots of sleeping and lots of watching Futurama episodes.
Went to ARQ on sunday, and kinda feel like going to a rave
now.. its been a while since the last one (rave back in
time at liverpool). Its thursday now and i'm about to go
to Mums for my weekly healthy meal :-)
Due to unforseen circumstances
I have no cash for a while... time to live on credit :-).
I think I better wait a bit before I buy that Mountain bike
and new rollerblades!
Lots of weird things are
happening - at work, with Jules/Trevor, and not to forget
the Ben/Carmen collective. BTW - dont forget daylight savings
this weekend!!! I must try to remember!
In other news... my Santos
shares went up 5% today so i'm happy :-).
Oh and i've scanned about
75% of the photos in my photo-scanning project.. so there
should be some on this site in the not-too-distant future.
Anyway, I keep finding that
I cant say too much on a weblog that everyone has access
to! Maybe I will need to create a password protected UNCENSORED
version - it would be a lot more interesting to read!

12:00p - Weekend over
Back at work this Monday..
only had 3 hours sleep last night! Feeling perfectly fine
tho.. must be the couple of hours sleep I had yesterday
arvo (thank god for that!).
Went out clubbing last night
with Jules after having coffee with him and Ben where this
annoying crazy lady kept asking around if anyone had seen
some guy at a table because he had bought her a drink..
over and over and over again. Ahhh.. the city crazies, gotta
love em.. wouldnt be the same without em! It was raining
last night so got a bit wet. Went to ARQ where me and Jules
went upstairs before anyone turned up and danced like crazy
ravers with noone around.. was pretty fun, until it got
PACKED with people. Cant wait until the smoking ban comes
in.. only 3 years to wait! :-)
At work I have been given
a new project - its a different product related to the first.
I have been working on the same product for 3 years now
so this will be a good change of scenery. I got a thick
spec document which is a rarity, so should be a lot clearer
than usual!
Looking forward to The Biggest
CitySkate Ever in November... better prepare my old and
decaying rollerblades (or buy some new ones!).

11:55a - work.raymonscott.com
In the last few days I have
created work.raymonscott.com. Alternatively, just click
the 'work' link at the top of the page. This new section
will include all things work related. I have put up some
info about most of the developers at work and some table
tennis stats :-)
The photos section is still
not done yet. This is because the photo project has now
turned into something bigger. I am currently scanning every
single photo I (and my mum) has that is related to me in
some way, and will have my own digital copy of all photos.
I will then select a few to put up on the website (I only
have 10MB webspace). I'm about 50% finished in scanning
of the photos and expect to be totally finished in 2 or
3 weeks time - so stay tuned.
I have some other sections
of the website in mind, but we'll see if I get time to do
them. I would like to get a 'dirty dwarves' and 'scene characters'
page up at some point in future, but i'm going to have to
practise my drawing skills! So many ideas, not enough time!!
In other news, I'm selling
my Netgear wireless Adapter (NIC card) for $50 (take a look
on the right).
The weather has suddenly
gotten hotter and I have discovered I have hardly any summer
clothes... so I'll spend a bit of the weekend looking around
for some shorts and other bits and pieces - I need to get
a mountain bike too... but I keep putting it off!
In the work table tennis
tournament I have been totally wiped out :-). 4-nil, 4-nil,
4-1. And that one set win was just because the other team
was being easy on us. Doh! Monzur, the most improved player
of the tournament, has moved into the semi finals to everyones
surprise!
Saw Nick Salzberg on wednesday
night on Oxford st as I was buying an ice-cream (it was
extremely hot on wednesday). I wonder if he is still doing
all that protesting stuff. I'm sure there would be great
viewing entertainment if we got him and Pete from work together
to debate! I'd love to see that!!

12:00p - Weekend Over, Table
Tennis Begins
Already Tuesday... had a
pretty average weekend. Went to dinner at 'Twelve' in Newtown
for the first time on friday night with Jules, Ben, Heath,
Laura, Jenny Woo, and Matina. Had some pizza which was nice
but pretty expensive for what it was. Went for coffee later
and out to a bar with Jules and watched lots of extreme
dancing from my favourite dancer EGD :-). After hanging
around for a few hours, within the last 5 minutes we got
hassled by 3 different annoying people - all separately.
We thought it was time to leave! Walked outside and it was
daylight! Was quite surprised.. didnt realise how long we
had stayed there, and I didnt feel tired at all.
Saturday and Sunday hung
out with Jules/Trevor a lot and Ben for a bit. Explored
the new (well sort of) shopping centre at Bondi Junction,
and found a cool shop
selling glass cubes which you can have your own face embedded
into it in 3D!! Amazing!
Watched the election results
with interest particularly since my boss was a candidate
running in the Bennelong seat, and I have a lot to gain/lose
on the outcome! My boss didnt fare too well, but due to
the coalition getting a great result in both houses my Telstra
shares rocketed up on Monday morning :-). It was a good
day on the stock market - made almost a grand in a day!
I'm back at work today,
and this week is the office's Table Tennis Tournament 2004
(yes, we are all geeks). Unfortunately I have played 2 out
of 3 matches in the first round and lost both of them in
a miserable failure (4-nil, 4-nil). Hmm... maybe i'm not
as much of a geek as I thought after all. I still have a
chance at making the next round, but very unlikely! And
yes Monzur - you beat me and I am hopeless :-)

9:59a - Total Compatibility!
No, i'm not talking about
internet dating! My website is now totally compatible with
Firefox after many requests to support the non-Microsoft
world. I'll try to make sure it stays compatible with both
IE and Firefox from now on. Happy Minh? Andrew? :-)
And I dedicate this weblog
entry to Monzur who needs something to read this morning
and wants me to write something. For those who dont know,
Monzur is the ultimate table tennis and five-ten-king cards
champion.
The election is coming up
this weekend, and my boss is running for the Bennelong seat
(the seat John Howard currently controls). Should be interesting.

9:50a - Relaxed
Feeling quite refreshed
after the long weekend today. Had lots of sleep.
Hung out with friends on
friday, saturday, sunday and monday nights! And saw a whole
lot of crazy bulldog supporters driving all over the city
before and after the footy game on sunday. Had lots of coffee
and saw lots of crazy homeless people, and waved to lots
of asian tourists on buses :-)
Finally saw Lord of the
Rings - Return of the King... which I thought was a great
movie. All 3 movies are awesome. Also played a bit of Sim
City 4 - not a bad game, but not that different from previous
versions of Sim City.
Jules and Trevor came around
on Saturday (I think it was saturday?) and Jules and I played
Tetris Attack yet again, while Trevor looked completely
excited (NOT!). Cristan came over Monday arvo for a bit.
He is doing his PhD now.. it will be funny when he is a
'Doctor'. I have a Science degree so I guess that makes
me a 'Scientist' :-). I have the hair for it.. (when its
not flattened out with the mousse!)
Then went out with Ben,
Heath and Julian for the usual coffee thing.
Back to work today, and
its a 4 day working week! yeah!! Time to eat some chocolate...
Adios!

9:27a - Almost the long
weekend!
Today is friday, and I cant
wait until the long weekend begins. Its raining outside
and I got a bit wet on the way to work.. I need a new umbrella!
I recently got Sim City 4, and I'm dying to play it - so
I should have heaps of time this weekend to give it a go!
yeah!! I also got a whole lot of Black Adder shows on DVD,
so I'll never be bored at home again!
I have been on a bit of
an eating binge the last week, but I'm going to stop that
starting today. Went to mums last night and had lots of
chicken, ice cream and other goodies :-)
Another new section I am
going to add to this website is a work section. This will
have photos of the guys at work - working, playing table
tennis.. whatever.. and anything else I can be bothered
putting up!
