I had heard a couple of weeks before this event that over 2000 tickets had been sold to it. But on the night only a couple of hundred people turned up.

Credit goes to the organisers who must have known how few tickets had been sold, but had decided to still put on a huge party. And to prove how big it was here is a nice photo...

Big production

Count how many lasers... well there were lots anyway. At some time during the night there was a 'laser extravaganza'. There were dancers on stage, and someone who came out in a mirror suit thingy and stood on stage in front of a laser dancing. Sounds weird, but looked great...

Laser woman

It was reminiscent of Field of Dreams 4, which also had a "laser chick" with actual lasers strapped to her arms. It was a great party, and lots of friendly people - and a distinct lack of 'lads'. Maybe something to do with enforcement of over 18's policy? More people would have been better, but I still had a great time.

I liked this rave mainly because of all the people I knew who had turned up. But it was in a venue that has certainly been overused over the years.

Around about 3am a big fight broke out. I left at about 4, but apparently the party shut down before 5, so I didnt miss much.

4-May-2007 - Funny error message

A few weeks ago I was with Julian and went to go to the bank ATM to get some much needed cash.

To my surprise, there was an error message on the ATM. Looks like the Commonwealth Bank is using Windows for its ATMs... hahaha.
