Yep it really is raving season for me at the moment. I seem to have an obsession with making sure that I write down every single rave I have ever been to. And today is no exception :-)

Marvel: Nightmare

Date: 31st March 2007

Location: Windsor Function Centre, Cnr Dight and Macquarie Sts.

This was a party with 2 rooms, and it was ok. A bit too much hardcore/gabba for my liking. I have been to this venue before a couple of years back.

 

Blockbuster

Date: 7th April 2007

Location: Pavillion at Gunnamatta Park, Nicholson Pde, Cronulla

A very unusual place to have a rave.. in a hall in a park smack in the middle of suburbia. I think it got shut down eventually. It was right next to the water. This was a very cheap rave.. only $10, and it was not bad for the price. But again too much hardcore/gabba for my liking. God damn all this gabba :-)

 

From Dusk Till Dawn

Date: 21st April 2007

Location: Haigh Park, Bridges Rd, Moorebank

This was actually a free outdoor party right next to a lake. I have been to this venue years back for a Rave Back In Time event (i think thats what it was). I really liked the music at this party, and there were a few hundred people. They had set up all the lighting and stuff on this climbable tower inside the park. Unusually it started at 6pm, and was meant to finish at 7am but got shut down (so I heard) at about 4:30. I had left before then. A great night, especially since it was free!

I've got another 4 or so raves lined up for the next 2 months. Let the raving season continue!
